My best friend since we were babies is the best guy you could ever meet, he goes above and beyond for everyone even strangers, once he drove over 3 hours for someone we barely knew, that’s the kinda guy he is.
6 years ago his wife and 2 of their children were in a deadly car accident where they all unfortunately passed away leaving him with just one daughter and a few weeks ago just before Christmas that one daughter took her own life, he woke up and went to wake her up for school only to find her body hanging in her room, it was absolutely fucking heartbreaking, she left him a suicide note and he showed it to me, she said she was so sorry and that she loved her dad but losing her mom and siblings and a lot of other things including being sexually assaulted once was too much on her, she was just 16 years old it’s absolutely fucking heartbreaking.
My friend had no idea about her sexual assault but he had her in therapy ever since the accident but it wasn’t enough, my friend is completely destroyed and I’ve been sleeping at his house for a while just to keep him company, he asked me to because he doesn’t wanna be alone, I don’t even know how many times he’s cried on my shoulder since, his screams rip my damn heart out, he keeps asking me why didn’t she just talk to him and I have no idea what to say, this is absolutely horrible, he can’t even go inside her room anymore:
Life is so fucking unfair, the shittiest people always have the best lives while the good ones always suffer, and please stop telling grieving people that it’s all “god’s plan” what good did my friend outliving and burying all of his children and his wife do? Who does it benefit?! If it’s truly god’s plan then he’s an evil sick bastard.
Sorry for the rant just created an account to get this off of my chest without getting judged for it
