The Original Post
So I had this extremely enjoyable experience! For reference, as soon as this man arrived at my home, he barged straight in, accused me of editing my shrimp photos? And told me they werenβt high enough quality for him and that he had found a website thatβs cheaper and better quality. Not only that, he also attempted to leave without even paying, AND THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO TRY TO SELL ME A VAPE!!
Shrimp are incredibly delicate to transport, they do die and it is highly expected for them to die. I even put 2 extras in just incase they did die.
What Reddit Said
Redditors were absolutely appalled by the buyer’s behavior. Most commenters focused on the classic choosing beggar move of claiming to find better deals elsewhere. However, many were equally disturbed by the buyer’s complete lack of boundaries in barging into someone’s home.
The top comment summed up Reddit’s advice perfectly: when customers claim they can find better deals elsewhere, simply tell them to go buy there instead. Moreover, several aquarium enthusiasts chimed in about the realities of transporting delicate shrimp.
The Verdict
The overwhelming consensus: this choosing beggar shrimp buyer crossed every possible line. From home invasion to attempted theft to unwanted sales pitches, this encounter had it all. This is a textbook example of choosing beggar behavior that shows why sellers need firm boundaries with difficult customers.
