I’m in my mid-30s and recently single after a long relationship. Dating again already feels awkward and forced, like I’m pretending to be someone cooler than I actually am.

I met a woman, we went on a first date, it was fine. Good enough that we set up a second. Second date went well too. We had drinks, went back to her place, started making out. Things were getting heated and she asked me what I liked.

So I told her the truth. I said I have sensitive nipples and I like them played with.
She laughed. Not in a cute way. Not in a flirty way. Just straight up laughed at me like I’d said something pathetic.

After that the whole mood died. A few minutes later she said she was tired and asked me to leave. By the time I got home, I realized she’d blocked me everywhere.

So yeah. That’s where I’m at. Mid-30s, newly single, trying to date, and I just got rejected because of my nipples.

Honestly it made me feel like an idiot for even being honest. Part of me thinks I should’ve just said something safe and boring. Another part of me thinks if someone reacts like that, maybe I dodged a bullet.

Still feels pretty shitty though.
